Love, love this product. Easy to use and assemble. Great quality.
Excellent sauna. Great for the price also. I highly recommend this unit. I also purchased the backrests, a great addition.
I️ am enjoying our new sauna immensely. My husband was very pleased with the quality and how easy it was to put together.
Received my sauna today in three well packaged boxes. Got everything unpacked and all the parts were there. Nothing damaged and off to a great start. The quality and craftsmanship is quite impressive. The glass door is very nice and the audio system is a nice feature. Some reviews described problems with the build instructions, but I did not experience any issues. If you are not mechanically inclined get some assistance and you will have no problems. Everything fit and buckled together perfectly. Wiped it down inside. Fired it up for an hour per the instructions. Now I'm sitting in here at 130 degrees roasting nicely. I'm 6'3" 210 pounds and I fit quite comfortably. Definitely worth the money in my opinion.
I've had the unit for about a month and I love it. I use it almost every day. I tend to see an energy / mood uplift after use. Appearance wise, I do think my skin tones improved, it looks brighter and clearer. I actually noticed the most drastic improvement in my skin appearance after the first use. The unit takes about 15-20 minutes to warm up, and then it takes about 20 minutes for me to work up a good sweat. I do sweat more in this than a traditional sauna, and its a different type of sweat. The highest temperature this goes to is 140 deg Fahrenheit / 60 deg Celsius. I was surprised by this at first, but it does the job quite well. The assembly is quite easy. I was hoping to get it done without help, I'm a short female without much arm strength, and the front door proved too heavy for me to lift alone. Other than that, assembly is an intuitive and straight forward process. The instructions came on a single sheet of paper and was mildly helpful, but because the unit is so well designed, almost anyone could put it together after a little bit of thinking. Finally, the unit at arrival was packaged in three separate pellets. Everything was super well packaged. Since it was mostly wood, plus one sheet of tempered glass that was very break proof, everything was securely packaged.
The 3 boxes arrived and were in perfect condition. I was able to set it up myself (45 year old woman). The power box has a (male) plug that should be round to connect to the round female connection to the control panel. The male plug was misshapen, so I couldn't connect it easily. It's made of rubber, and I used pliers to try to mold it back to the correct shape. I was eventually able to get it to work. The other issue I had was getting the chromotheraphy lightbulb to work. It wouldn't screw in properly. I took a video of it with my phone and emailed it to customer service. They sent me a replacement socket. I just replaced the socket and still can't get the lightbulb to work. It may have something to do with the remote control - the little light on top doesn't light up when I press any buttons (and yes, I confirmed the batteries I was using do work in other remotes). I emailed customer service (it's Sunday) and expect to hear back from them late tomorrow morning (they are on the Pacific time, I'm on Central). In spite of the issues, I have used the sauna almost every day. Because it's a 1 person sauna with six panels, it gets much hotter than larger saunas I've used. People have complained about the draft from the door, but it's minor and frankly, kind of refreshing. I use the sauna for 45 minutes at 125 degrees. The sauna at my yoga studio (a 3 person sauna) is supposedly at 140 degrees but I don't sweat like I do at 125 degrees in my 1 person sauna.I debated whether to get the 2 person sauna, but I was worried about having space for it. I probably could have fit the 2 person sauna, and would have wanted it so I could prop my feet up. I actually just put my iPad on a stool in front of the sauna and watch TV, so not putting my feet up hasn't been a problem. I tend to use it in the evening because it makes me want to go to sleep afterwards.I bought this from JNH because of the 5 year warranty, the customer service, and the reviews on Amazon. Even though I've had problems, I don't regret the purchase.
Ok, a little mea culpa by JNH due to an internal miscommunication about the warranty, which DOES cover every item in the sauna for the full 5 years. The customer service rep, Erika, was excellent and fixed my issue 100% plus. I will now change my rating to 5 stars on the simple fact that Erika tracked me down after I raised my concerns via email. This is Top Notch customer service and just saying they were sorry for the internal mistake is worth two stars in my book. I say that because so many companies just ignore the customer because their are usually 5 customers lined up behind the one customer they might have not provided top notch service to. So these companies just don't care.My daughter absolutely loves the sauna. It has made her aching joints feel so much better. Thanks to JNH for standing behind their product and thanks to their great customer service.PS: I want to point out one key feature that JNH has over many of the other units on the market. It is their double wall construction. It took a bit of research to figure that the other manufacturers don't have this feature. Why is this important you might ask? It's simple, the double wall acts as an insulator so there is lower heat loss. That lower heat loss lets the panels do less work (less on/off cycling) to keep the temperature steady which means the carbon fiber panels should last much longer. I don't have any empirical data to back up that claim but it makes logical sense that especially true when it comes to heating components.
